His obituary states that he was employed on the railroad and was killed in Long Branch by being struck by an overhanging bridge. A strange fatality has followed this family. Nineteen years ago, his father was killed in the mines here. And nine years later a son was killed on the railroad near Wilkes-Barre. He is buried at Pine Hill Cemetery Shickshinny, PA.
