By a fall of rock, Thomas Pugh, a resident of Edwardsville for the past thirty years, was killed instantly on Saturday evening at 8 O’clock at the Woodward mine. He is survived by his wife and ten children; Lewis, Annie, Janie, Nellie, Maggie, Evan, Mary, Mabel, Thomas and the baby. Also five brothers and two sisters.  Mr. Pugh was 42 years of age and was a member of Local 77, Brotherhood of the Union of Wilkes-Barre.”
