Vincent Gubitoso was in a mine cave-in, in which his leg was so badly damaged he never recovered. When he was 39 years old, he had his 1st stroke. The family had a very hard time after that. Our mom and dad were the most beautiful parents. Dad built a home in Cork Lane, which was destroyed in a fire. He then built a home in Pittston.
